The Sanctuary is a home for many Black Howler Monkeys. The Villagers created this sanctuary as a means of displaying the importance of the monkeys in their natural habitat and also for humans to develop an appreciation for these amazing creatures. A visit to this park is well worth it for anyone visiting or living in Belize.
