EXCELLENTVerified Hol Chan is great, but Pepper and Derek make it even better. Pepper and Derek were amazing tour guys. Sometimes you don’t want to go by yourself, but when I told Derek and Pepper I was alone, they made sure I was always in a group. They are funny, knowledgeable and took really great care of all of us. I would trust them with anyone. I saw turtles, sharks, eels, puffer fish, angels, groupers, snapper, stingrays and more. We saw tons of fish, a couple stingrays, turtles, beautiful coral, nurse sharks, a manatee and even a reef shark!! We fed the tarpon and learned so much about Belize! The boat was comfortable, shaded and had everything we needed. He took us reef fishing, cooked us a delicious lunch with our catch, and brought us on a guided snorkeling tour. We saw so many fishes, turtles, rays and sharks. Pepper is great with kids and did a fantastic job in making sure my 4 yr old was able to fully enjoy her first snorkeling experience. Don't normally leave reviews but we had an exceptionally great time in beautiful Belize thanks to Pepper's hospitality. Hol Chan Snorkel with T-Rex and Ronaldo, Mexico Rocks with Jamil, and Cave Tubing + Baboon Sanctuary with Linden. Each guide was so great, so knowledgeable, and so kind. This was worth the money and made our trip to Belize.Posted onVerified Fantastic Snorkeling/Manatee Adventure T-Rex and V took my family out for the day on a wonderful snorkeling trip. We fed stingrays and tarpons, saw sea horses and plenty of coral. We swam with multiple sea turtles and sharks. T-Rex got great photos and videos of us with the sea turtles and V made the best ceviche that we had in the island. They were fantastic! Unfortunately we didn’t see any manatees, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. T-Rex and V scouted so many spots refusing to give up! Overall fantastic experience. As we walked away my kids said it was one of their all time favorite vacation days. Worth every penny and then some.Posted onVerified ZERO PROFESSIONALISM! My day trip catamaran tour from San Pedro to Caye Caulker started of good, however, upon landing in Caye Caulker one of the two male tour guides that was physically aiding tourist off the boat made me fall backwards on my back and I hit my head, HARD! It should be noted I initially refused his help but he insisted. I understand accidents can happen but said male staff was clowning around from the very start of the tour, which is fine but there comes a point where professionalism must be paramount. While many of the tourist came to my aid, said male staff blame me for my fall citing I "leaned back" to far. Said male staff asked the second male staff to help him, help me (from my fall) and the second male staff outright refused while he watch me lay on the floor of the boat. I was in so much pain for the remainder of the day that I didn't enjoy the day trip at all. It was the sole female staff on the catamaran, Sherry, that apologized on behalf of the two male staff and offer to pay for a massage for me while at Caye Caulker free of charge. I thanked her but I declined, as I didn't want her to take responsibility for the incident. Upon my return home I began physiotherapy and my recovery is ongoing. My injury happened on February 17, 2026. I hope the owner of this company sees my review and holds the staff accountable.Posted onVerified Fantastic Company & Experiences We did 2 tours with Tuff E Nuff during our stay at Belizean Shores - both were fantastic! We did a half day snorkel tour to Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley directly from our resort dock. There were 7 of us on the boat, and Pepper was great at guiding us during the snorkel & identifying the marine life for us! We had a blast. We also took a half day tour to Altun Ha, again straight from our resort dock. It was only my husband and I, a private tour! They facilitated meals, drinks, admission fees, and all transport. We got to Altun Ha and were exploring before anyone else was there which was so cool. Tahoe was very knowledgeable and let us take our time. Everyone was very friendly. I recommend this company for sure! Our prices and tours were booked directly through our resort.Posted onVerified ATM Cave and Catamaran Cruise were exceptional! We booked Tuff E Nuff Tours for two adventures, the first day to the ATM Cave, and the second a catamaran trip to snorkel Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley with a nice long stop at Caye Caulker to explore the island. They can do it all! For the cave, they picked us up from our dock outside San Pedro and fed us breakfast, then boated us to the mainland where a shuttle drive took us to Teakettle Village where they introduced us to our cave guides. The catamaran day they provided everything, we synced our music up to the boat's speakers, and they took us snorkeling the waters. Our guides showed us all sorts of creatures, and were great with the kids in our group (some 4yos and a 7yo) who had the best time! We had about 27 on the catamaran total and it was such a day to remember!Posted onVerified Best snorkeling! We had the best time out at Hol Chan and Shark Ray Alley!! Ronaldo was the absolute best guide and really went out of his way to show us all the cool things! I was nervous about shark ray alley but he eased my mind and made it an unforgettable experience. Would recommend to anyone!!Posted onVerified Amazing Snorkeling! Justin, the best guide ever, was our snorkeling guide for a wonderful tour of Hol Chan, then on to Shark Ray Alley. This was my first time snorkeling and it was fantastic. Justin was in the water the whole time with us pointing out turtles, parrot fish, sea cucumber, and many beautiful fish. The sharks were amazing and bit 6-7 fit and got within an inch of my face and legs! What an experience! In total I think we snorkeled about 45-50 minutes. The fee was $90 per person and well worth every penny. Tuff E Nuf supplied fins, mask, snorkel, life jacket if needed, and water and soda on the boat.Load more
